Jonathan Miller – The Ateism Tapes (2004)

The Atheism Tapes' is a series of one-on-one dialogs between Jonathan Miller and six acknowledged thinkers on the topic of belief and atheism. It follows 'Jonathan Miller's Brief History of Disbelief' which met with such critical acclaim and popularity that the BBC broke what was essentially an unspoken rule: Miller was allowed to create a second series from discussions cut from the first and air it within the same season. Each segment is dedicated to one discussion and is edited to a 30 minute duration.

Stewart Lee - 90's Comedian (2006)

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5333/imdbimage.jpg

You're looking at a very special DVD that very nearly didn't happen. Stewart Lee's tour de force, 90s Comedian, has been dubbed so controversial (along with his directing debut Jerry Springer the Opera) that none of the big DVD manufacturers would touch it with a barge pole. Which is a shame, and is why the fearless Go Faster Stripe stepped in and offered to organise a special one-off evening's performance to capture this man's unmitigated comedic genius and preserve it on DVD for posterity.

Julien Temple - Oil City Confidential (2009)

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5333/imdbimage.jpg

Director Julien Temple's film celebrates Canvey Island's Dr Feelgood, the Essex R 'n' B band that exploded out of the UK in the prog era of the early Seventies, delivering shows and albums that helped pave the way for pub rock and punk.
Temple examines Canvey Island culture as a 'Thames delta' for British rhythm and blues, with a central performance from the Feelgood's guitarist and songwriter Wilko Johnson. A British original, his dynamic stage presence and relationship with lead singer Lee Brilleaux drove the band through their early performances, characterising their three albums between 1975 and 1976, Down by the Jetty, Malpractice and the number one live album, Stupidity.

David Attwood - The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (1996)

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5333/imdbimage.jpg

This energetic, sardonic, and richly funny adaptation of Daniel Defoe's classic novel is completely unlike what you might expect from genteel Masterpiece Theatre.

The heroine, Moll Flanders (Alex Kingston), after being born in prison, wends her way through the top and bottom of 18th-century English society, has five husbands (including a roguish highwayman who becomes the love of her life), many lovers (male and female), travels to America and back again, and in general discovers all that is cruel and sweet in life.

Jim Groom - Revenge of Billy the Kid (1991)

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5333/imdbimage.jpg

After an early career in post-production Jim Groom’s first feature-length directing stint was the low budget horror-comedy Revenge of Billy the Kid in 1992. This sick little tale about a half-man/half-goat creature going on a killing spree in the Westcountry became something of a cult hit on video, though it’s fair to say that it also repulsed a number of critics.
