Robert Talbot (Rock Hudson, proving his comedic talent) has a beautiful Italian villa he only uses during the month of September, which also fits his beautiful local girlfriend, Lisa (Gina Lollobrigida)for that same month a year. Lisa is so frustrated that she is preparing to marry an English gentlemen (Sidney Howard), but she reconsiders when Robert decides to fly in in July. What the business man does not know is that his butler, Maurice (Walter Slezak, who nearly steals the show), has been using the villa as a hotel. Talbot finds his place swarming with tourists, including a group of college girls. And then the college boys make a landing, headed by Tony (Bobby Darin) who immediately sets his sights on Sandy (Sandra Dee), while Talbot cunningly tries to keep these young fellows away from the girls, which leads to more funny and romantic complications.

This movie is fantastic all around. From the breathtakingly gorgeous Italian scenery, to the costumes, wonderful chemistry between the actors, and the music (with Darin crooning one of his own tunes, "Multplication" in a dance sequence), "Come September" is priceless. The electricity between Darin and Dee is so apparent, and this is a fitting tribute to both of them, and the fact that they married after filming wrapped makes the viewing of the film all the more enjoyable.

Tony, his swinging nephew, inherits the magazine and takes over.
Presently, the magazine is planning to expand and to do so they need
some capital. Tony's trying to arrange a loan through his friend.
He is then informed by the hotel detective of the hotel that his uncle died in,
that on the night of his death, a woman, wearing only a towel,
came out of his room, and ran away before the detective could catch up with her.
They suspect that the Colonel was "with" her on the night he died,
cause he was smiling when he died. Tony and two of his uncle's confidants
are worried that not only if the bank hears of this they will not get the loan

is Katie Robbins, one of the magazine's researchers and that she entered the room

Director Tony Richardson adapted the screenplay of A Taste of Honey from the "kitchen sink" stage play by Shelagh Delaney. Rita Tushingham plays a working-class British teenager, living with her drink-sodden, libertine mother Dora Bryan. Denied affection by her selfish mother, Tushingham is pushed further in the background when Bryan impulsively marries her latest boyfriend Robert Stephens. The girl takes a job at a shoe store, then moves in with her kindly homosexual employer Murray Melvin. The two lost souls live in harmony until Tushingham becomes pregnant after a casual affair with black sailor Paul Danquah. Melvin comes to the rescue by offering to look after the baby. This relatively blissful state of affairs is short-lived; before long, Tushingham's hateful mother, having been kicked out by Stephens, descends upon her daughter and her "family," with all her debilitating emotional baggage intact. A poignant denouement caps this riveting slice-of-life drama.
